Hi sorry I've not been posting a lot lately, but now I'm here. My post is just riddles I found. Here are the questions:

Q2: A boy was walking down the street with a doctor. The boy is the doctor's son but the doctor isn't the boy's father. How is that possible?
Q3: What cheese is made backwards?
Q4: Mary’s father has 5 daughters – Nana, Nene, Nini, Nono. What is the fifth daughters name?
Q5: What month do people sleep the least in?
Q6: We see it once in a year, twice in a week, and never in a day. What is it?
Q7: Mr. Blue lives in the blue house, Mr. Pink lives in the pink house, and Mr. Brown lives in the brown house. Who lives in the white house?

Galas And Birthdays Everywhere!
THE GALAAA.... has been. Wait. What is a Gala? A Gala is pretty much a Carnival. On the 8th of November we had our school Gala. The Gala was really fun!!!
Some of the activities and food stalls at the Gala were: a teacher dunk tank, hot chips, sweet stalls, smash palace, cupcake decorating were some of the things they had at the Gala. I really liked the Gala because it had so many activities and lots of different food stalls.
Next week is my little sister's birthday and she's turning 4! I still haven't brought her a present and I still don't know what I should buy her. She is kind of girly and kind of tomboyish and she doesn't really play with toys but she likes watching t.v and drawing random stuff. If you have any suggestions of what I should buy her comment down below! Thanks for reading!

Everyday I'm shuffling!
Hi guys it's me and today's blog post is about... THE GRI11 DANCE OFF!!!!! #Do the sprinkler!!
After sport all the children in GRi11 got into groups (with mix of boys and girls) and we had to come up with a dance in less than three minutes. I started FREAKING out as soon as I heard the word dance mainly because I'm horrible at it. Isabella, Odn, Aaron and I were in a group. We started brainstorming some moves. After 3 minutes we had to go and we were the first group chosen to battle another group.
At the beginning the boys commenced behind the girls and then they burst out from behind. Isabella and I started doing the sprinkler and Odn did the worm / caterpillar. Then Aaron started doing the move called the Spongebob.
After 30 seconds of dancing, the other members in GRi11 got to chose who went to the next round by making a lot of noise when Mr Robertson was pointing at the group you were going for. When Mr Robertson pointed at our team a lot of people made noises and we were through to the next round!!! I was really happy and surprised.

The Holidays!!!
Ahh the holidays. I wish I could go back to those days. My term three holidays were amazing.
In week one of the holidays, my friend, her sisters, my sister, her brother and I went to laser tag and the laser maze on Thursday. I really enjoyed the laser tag because it was really fun and I got shot like a million times.
On Friday we all went bowling. The first game was between my friend, her brother and I. My friend won and I came last in that game. In the second game, only my friend and I versed and I won by like 20 points. I was really proud of myself.
On Saturday my sisters and I went to inflatable world. Our mum dropped us off and she said she would be back in two hours. Inflatable world is an arena filled with blow up stuff. There were slides, bouncy castles and there was also a bouncy castle with a climbing wall so if you fall you don’t get hurt. I tried the climbing wall like twice but I couldn’t reach the top because I was too scared.
On the first day of the week two holidays, my whole family and I got up really early so we were ready. After everyone had changed and all the luggage was in the car, we started piling in the car to head to Wellington.
Once we arrived in the carpark of the airport, we started to unload the suitcases. Once we arrived at the Wellington airport, my family and I went to the bag drop area. My dad placed the two big red suitcases and my little sister’s car seat. After he finished doing that we went to the lounge where we are supposed to wait until our flight is called up.
Later on the gate of our flight opened and we got ready to board the plane. The plane was not very big from the outside but it had enough seats to seat at least 150 people. The small t.v from above started coming down and then a plane safety video showed up. (Here’s the link to the video-https://goo.gl/iLf9Ui.) I thought that the song was really catchy.
During the flight, the flight attendants gave us a cookie, a glass of water and some vegetable crisps. The flight was only 45 minutes so we got there really fast.
We went out of the terminal and went to the ‘lounge’. There were some arcades games and my little sister saw them so she started to rush over and pretend to play them.
After like 20 minutes we FINALLY started heading out to get our oversized luggage and the car seat. As my dad and I got there, the airport security people were taking our bags and the car seat in a trolley with a few other bags. I told my dad to run to get the bags so we don’t lose but as may know he is really old and worrying more about getting a cramp in his back instead of our bags. But he got there just in time to save the bags. Then we started waiting for the rest of our family to come so we could leave and go to the motel. Then one of the staff members from the motel came to pick us up in a blue van because we didn’t have a car.
The next day we got dressed early so we could leave at about 10:00. After my dad got back from the airport, we started loading all our luggage back into the car. Then we drove to Queenstown. It was a SIX HOUR drive. We stayed at a really nice hotel at Queenstown called Copthorne hotel. It was a really big apartment.
On Wednesday we went to the 12D motion theatre. A 12D motion theatre is a pair of six seats on one base and you wear 3D glasses and look at the screen in front of you and it shows small movies and you feel like you're actually in the movie and it is really cool. The person who works there showed us a roller-coaster movie and it felt like we were actually riding a roller-coaster. After that we didn’t do much except just walk around in the city centre.
On Thursday we had to wake up really early so we could get ready and have breakfast and then go to the coach. It was a 5 hour drive to get to Milford Sound and it was a really LONG drive and slowly I was going crazy but I took a lot of pictures and listened to music to keep me company. When we arrived at the port, everyone started tumbling out of the bus with all their luggage to catch their boat. Our boat was about to leave so we quickly headed to where it was going to leave. The boat was two hours and it wasn’t that bad. We also saw seal pups on the rocks while we were on the boat. After that we went back to the coach and back to Queenstown.
Friday was my favourite day probably. We went to go to the Skyline Gondola. First we went up to the top on the gondola. When we got there, we had to wait 15 minutes until we could eat at the buffet. It was a all you can eat buffet and there were a lot of people there. Once we got to our table, my mum said that we could go and get all the food we wanted eat. I sat down once I had a trip around all the savoury foods. I thought that the chicken was the best savoury food because it was really, really, really delicious. The rice was also quite nice and many other foods.
After I had like 5 pieces of chicken I went to go get some dessert. The dessert was the BEST DESSERT EVER. All the desserts also looked so fabulous that you get the urge to eat them. They served the desserts in shot glasses and small bowls. I had four of those. I also had some lemon flavoured green tea because my mum said that it makes you feel relaxed. After a hour or so we left the buffet to go to the luge.
I had never been on the luge before so I didn’t know what to do or expect. My dad and my older sister had gone on the luge before and they said it was really easy. All of our family was doing it but my little sister was going on the same vehicle as my dad. We went on the scenic track which also known as the slow track. That was really fun up until the part I got stuck up a ramp. After all of us finished my older sister wanted to go on the fast track so she went on it with my dad.
When they came back we went back to the car and my dad suggested that we could go jet boating and we did. Only my dad, my older sister and I went to the jet boating. The jet boating was a really fun experience.
On Saturday in the morning we started heading back to Christchurch and stay at the same motel. Then on Sunday we went back to the airport to catch our flight back to Wellington and then drive back to Palmerston North.
We got to the airport really early so our parents said we could have Burger King because the security check line was really long. After a while the line got really short so we went there and then waited at the waiting lounge for an hour. The terminal opened so we could go on the plane and get ready to land in the North Island. Once we landed in Wellington Airport, we went to go get our over sized luggage and then eat something before we left to go to Palmy. My holiday was really fun and I hope I can go to the South Island again.
Here are some photos from the trip:

The learning pit and technology challenges.
Hi guys and welcome back to term FOUR!!! I know right this year has gone really fast. I haven't been blogging very much mostly because my holiday was amazing but that would be on another blog post..... Anyway this term we are learning about.. wait for it..... Evolution. We watched a video about the learning pit in class on the third day of term 4.
The Learning Pit:
The learning pit is a place where all of us have been. You don’t literally go in it, it’s just a metaphor. You go in the learning pit when you challenge yourself with something and it doesn’t exactly go as plan. You go deep down in the learning pit and you have to try and get out the other side. After you have finished you have a 'EUREKA' moment. In Greek 'Eureka' means I found it.
The balloon powered car:
The first technology challenge was the balloon powered car. That was a really hard challenge because we had no instructions but we had a piece of paper with the materials we could use. I was in a group with Emma, Isabella, Holly and Tiaki. After about 45 minutes all the cars had a race to see which ones worked and which ones were going to the finals. In the first round only 2 cars raced at a time and the car that went the furtherest won and would go straight to the final. When it was our turn to race our car against another team, the car didn't even make it across the start line. I wasn't that disappointed that we lost because 2 people in our team did everything and didn't let anyone else do anything and then they blamed us for not doing anything. I thought that was completely unfair and I was not very happy. I didn't have a 'EUREKA' moment when we finished our car because I wasn't very proud of it.
The paper challenge:
We got into the same groups as last time. This time we had a live model of what we had to make and materials like paper and scissors. Miss G said that we also had to document when we were in the learning pit, what we were saying and what we were feeling. I thought that this challenge was a lot easier then the other challenge. But once again one person in our group started lecturing us that Emma and I weren't doing anything and that we should start helping our group and when Emma said that technically we were doing the documentary, but then she went quiet. In the end all of my group had a 'EUREKA' moment because we finished our paper thing and Mr R said that it looked like the twin of the one Miss G made, which was the model. Overall I was really happy!
