Riddles!

Hi sorry I've not been posting a lot lately, but now I'm here. My post is just riddles I found. Here are the questions:

Q1: There was once a pink one-storey house and inside the house there was a pink t.v, a pink lamp, a pink shower, a pink bed, a pink cat and basically everything inside the house was pink! What were the colours of the stairs?

Q2: A boy was walking down the street with a doctor. The boy is the doctor's son but the doctor isn't the boy's father. How is that possible?

Q3: What cheese is made backwards?

Q4: Mary’s father has 5 daughters – Nana, Nene, Nini, Nono. What is the fifth daughters name?

Q5: What month do people sleep the least in?

Q6: We see it once in a year, twice in a week, and never in a day. What is it?

Q7: Mr. Blue lives in the blue house, Mr. Pink lives in the pink house, and Mr. Brown lives in the brown house. Who lives in the white house?

Answers:

A1: There are no stairs!

A2: The doctor is the boy's mother.

A3: Edam.

A4: If you answered Nunu, you're wrong! The answer is Mary.

A5: February

Galas And Birthdays Everywhere!

THE GALAAA....  has been. Wait. What is a Gala? A Gala is pretty much a Carnival. On the 8th of November we had our school Gala. The Gala was really fun!!!

Some of the activities and food stalls at the Gala were: a teacher dunk tank, hot chips, sweet stalls, smash palace, cupcake decorating were some of the things they had at the Gala. I really liked the Gala because it had so many activities and lots of different food stalls.

Next week is my little sister's birthday and she's turning 4! I still haven't brought her a present and I still don't know what I should buy her. She is kind of girly and kind of tomboyish and she doesn't really play with toys but she likes watching t.v and drawing random stuff. If you have any suggestions of what I should buy her comment down below! Thanks for reading!

Everyday I'm shuffling!

Hi guys it's me and today's blog post is about... THE GRI11 DANCE OFF!!!!! #Do the sprinkler!!

After sport all the children in GRi11 got into groups (with  mix of boys and girls) and we had to come up with a dance in less than three minutes. I started FREAKING out as soon as I heard the word dance mainly because I'm horrible at it. Isabella, Odn, Aaron and I were in a group. We started brainstorming some moves. After 3 minutes we had to go and we were the first group chosen to battle another group.

At the beginning the boys commenced behind the girls and then they burst out from behind. Isabella and I started doing the sprinkler and Odn did the worm / caterpillar. Then Aaron started doing the move called the Spongebob.

After 30 seconds of dancing, the other members in GRi11 got to chose who went to the next round by making a lot of noise when Mr Robertson was pointing at the group you were going for. When Mr Robertson pointed at our team a lot of people made noises and we were through to the next round!!! I was really happy and surprised.

Thanks for reading and please read my other blog posts. Bye!!

My F.A.I.L Graphic Design

The Holidays!!!

Ahh the holidays. I wish I could go back to those days. My term three holidays were amazing.

In week one of the holidays, my friend, her sisters, my sister, her brother and I went to laser tag and the laser maze on Thursday. I really enjoyed the laser tag because it was really fun and I got shot like a million times.

On Friday we all went bowling. The first game was between my friend, her brother and I. My friend won and I came last in that game. In the second game, only my friend and I versed and I won by like 20 points. I was really proud of myself.

On Saturday my sisters and I went to inflatable world. Our mum dropped us off and she said she would be back in two hours. Inflatable world is an arena filled with blow up stuff. There were slides, bouncy castles and there was also a bouncy castle with a climbing wall so if you fall you don’t get hurt. I tried the climbing wall like twice but I couldn’t reach the top because I was too scared.

On the first day of the week two holidays, my whole family and I got up really early so we were ready. After everyone had changed and all the luggage was in the car, we started piling in the car to head to Wellington.

Once we arrived in the carpark of the airport, we started to unload the suitcases. Once we arrived at the Wellington airport, my family and I went to the bag drop area. My dad placed the two big red suitcases and my little sister’s car seat. After he finished doing that we went to the lounge where we are supposed to wait until our flight is called up.

Later on the gate of our flight opened and we got ready to board the plane. The plane was not very big from the outside but it had enough seats to seat at least 150 people. The small t.v from above started coming down and then a plane safety video showed up. (Here’s the link to the video-https://goo.gl/iLf9Ui.) I thought that the song was really catchy.

During the flight, the flight attendants gave us a cookie, a glass of water and some vegetable crisps. The flight was only 45 minutes so we got there really fast.

We went out of the terminal and went to the ‘lounge’. There were some arcades games and my little sister saw them so she started to rush over and pretend to play them.

After like 20 minutes we FINALLY started heading out to get our oversized luggage and the car seat. As my dad and I got there, the airport security people were taking our bags and the car seat in a trolley with a few other bags. I told my dad to run to get the bags so we don’t lose but as may know he is really old and worrying more about getting a cramp in his back instead of our bags. But he got there just in time to save the bags. Then we started waiting for the rest of our family to come so we could leave and go to the motel. Then one of the staff members from the motel came to pick us up in a blue van because we didn’t have a car.

The next day we got dressed early so we could leave at about 10:00. After my dad got back from the airport, we started loading all our luggage back into the car. Then we drove to Queenstown. It was a SIX HOUR drive. We stayed at a really nice hotel at Queenstown called Copthorne hotel. It was a really big apartment.

On Wednesday we went to the 12D motion theatre. A 12D motion theatre is a pair of six seats on one base and you wear 3D glasses and look at the screen in front of you and it shows small movies and you feel like you're actually in the movie and it is really cool. The person who works there showed us a roller-coaster movie and it felt like we were actually riding a roller-coaster. After that we didn’t do much except just walk around in the city centre.

On Thursday we had to wake up really early so we could get ready and have breakfast and then go to the coach. It was a 5 hour drive to get to Milford Sound and it was a really LONG drive and slowly I was going crazy but I took a lot of pictures and listened to music to keep me company. When we arrived at the port, everyone started tumbling out of the bus with all their luggage to catch their boat. Our boat was about to leave so we quickly headed to where it was going to leave. The boat was two hours and it wasn’t that bad. We also saw seal pups on the rocks while we were on the boat. After that we went back to the coach and back to Queenstown.

Friday was my favourite day probably. We went to go to the Skyline Gondola. First we went up to the top on the gondola. When we got there, we had to wait 15 minutes until we could eat at the buffet. It was a all you can eat buffet and there were a lot of people there. Once we got to our table, my mum said that we could go and get all the food we wanted eat. I sat down once I had a trip around all the savoury foods. I thought that the chicken was the best savoury food because it was really, really, really delicious. The rice was also quite nice and many other foods.

After I had like 5 pieces of chicken I went to go get some dessert. The dessert was the BEST DESSERT EVER. All the desserts also looked so fabulous that you get the urge to eat them. They served the desserts in shot glasses and small bowls. I had four of those. I also had some lemon flavoured green tea because my mum said that it makes you feel relaxed. After a hour or so we left the buffet to go to the luge.

I had never been on the luge before so I didn’t know what to do or expect. My dad and my older sister had gone on the luge before and they said it was really easy. All of our family was doing it but my little sister was going on the same vehicle as my dad. We went on the scenic track which also known as the slow track. That was really fun up until the part I got stuck up a ramp. After all of us finished my older sister wanted to go on the fast track so she went on it with my dad.

When they came back we went back to the car and my dad suggested that we could go jet boating and we did. Only my dad, my older sister and I went to the jet boating. The jet boating was a really fun experience.

On Saturday in the morning we started heading back to Christchurch and stay at the same motel. Then on Sunday we went back to the airport to catch our flight back to Wellington and then drive back to Palmerston North.

We got to the airport really early so our parents said we could have Burger King because the security check line was really long. After a while the line got really short so we went there and then waited at the waiting lounge for an hour. The terminal opened so we could go on the plane and get ready to land in the North Island. Once we landed in Wellington Airport, we went to go get our over sized luggage and then eat something before we left to go to Palmy. My holiday was really fun and I hope I can go to the South Island again.

Here are some photos from the trip:

The learning pit and technology challenges.

Hi guys and welcome back to term FOUR!!! I know right this year has gone really fast. I haven't been blogging very much mostly because my holiday was amazing but that would be on another blog post..... Anyway this term we are learning about.. wait for it..... Evolution. We watched a video about the learning pit in class on the third day of term 4.

The Learning Pit:

The learning pit is a place where all of us have been. You don’t literally go in it, it’s just a metaphor. You go in the learning pit when you challenge yourself with something and it doesn’t exactly go as plan. You go deep down in the learning pit and you have to try and get out the other side. After you have finished you have a 'EUREKA' moment. In Greek  'Eureka' means I found it.

The balloon powered car:

The first technology challenge was the balloon powered car. That was a really hard challenge because we had no instructions but we had a piece of paper with the materials we could use. I was in a group with Emma, Isabella, Holly and Tiaki. After about 45 minutes all the cars had a race to see which ones worked and which ones were going to the finals. In the first round only 2 cars raced at a time and the car that went the furtherest won and would go straight to the final. When it was our turn to race our car against another team, the car didn't even make it across the start line. I wasn't that disappointed that we lost because 2 people in our team did everything and didn't let anyone else do anything and then they blamed us for not doing anything. I thought that was completely unfair and I was not very happy. I didn't have a 'EUREKA' moment when we finished our car because I wasn't very proud of it.

The paper challenge:

We got into the same groups as last time. This time we had a live model of what we had to make and materials like paper and scissors. Miss G said that we also had to document when we were in the learning pit, what we were saying and what we were feeling. I thought that this challenge was a lot easier then the other challenge. But once again one person in our group started lecturing us that Emma and I weren't doing anything and that we should start helping our group and when Emma said that technically we were doing the documentary, but then she went quiet. In the end all of my group had a 'EUREKA' moment because we finished our paper thing and Mr R said that it looked like the twin of the one Miss G made, which was the model. Overall I was really happy!

Thanks for reading my blog post. Bye!!

The Dream animation by Isabella, Emma and me!!!

If you have read my previous post you would know my class went to Mind Lab. Emma, Isabella and I made this animation at Mind Lab. We called it 'The Dream'  because this girl she has a dream and then when she wakes up she starts flying and then everything disappears. I hope you like it!

The Mind Lab

Reporter: THE MIND LAB.
Sally: What it is?
Reporter: It's a place in Petone where children learn stuff and do activities that make them think outside the box.
Sally:What they put children in a box? How do they breathe???
Reporter: No, no, no, they do not put children in a box. That's just an expression people use that means children are thinking really creatively.
Sally: Oh
Reporter: The children made these things called squiggle- bots. Squiggle-bots are cups that have markers attached to them and the children have to make them themselves. After they put the markers on they have to figure out how to put the motor and battery pack on the cup so the cup moves and makes a circles. That was a really hard activity but some children actually figured how to do it! Here is a photo of children testing their squiggle-bots:

Reporter: In another activity they had to make stop- motion animations. That was my favourite activity. The animations toke really long to make but in the end they were worth it. Here is a photo of children working on their animation:

Reporter: There was also 3D printing!
Sally: What? I thought 3D printing wasn't real!!!
Reporter: I thought that too but that was before I went to Mind Lab. I made a 3D print for my name. Malcolm (A person who works there.) told us some rules we needed to do or the 3D print won't come out right and it will fall apart. Here is a photo of children doing there 3D printing:

Reporter: Umm what else was there... Oh yeah the cars.
Sally: What? They let children play with cars!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Reporter: NOOOOO they didn't. The children had to make some sort of vehicle using materials like: DVDs, foam, straws, cardboard, skewers, a battery pack, a motor and a propeller. They had to form a car with those materials. My buddy and I failed a lot while we were trying to make the car but we didn't give up. Here is a photo of people working on their car:

Reporter: Overall Gri11 had a really fun day at Mind Lab and I hope I get to go there again!!

Sally: Oh that sounds fun! I want to go there!
Reporter: Oh yeah it is really fun and you should go there. But before you leave I have one last piece of information you need to know, Gri11 held fundraiser to make money so they could go to Mind Lab.
Sally: Really? What they make or sell for the fundraiser?
Reporter: They created Gri11 industries and made lots of different products. There were 7 groups and they were making: concrete pots, play-dough, crayon candles, bunting, tyre ottomans, bookshelves and cat houses.
Sally: Wow that is amazing.
Reporter: I know right and thanks for reading!!

GRi11 Industries

This term we are making products in groups of 8,9 or 10. There are seven groups. They are making: tyre ottomans, crayon candles, kitty computers, play-dough, concrete pots, bunting and bookshelves. I am in the group that are making concrete pots. We're raising money by selling these products because we want to go on a trip to MindLab. This is my group's advertising:

If you would like a concrete pot then please come to College Street Normal School, Palmerston North!!

My Digi awards photo!!

This is my Digi awards photo. All the photos are supposed to have a name and a message.

The name of my photo is 'Hiding in the dark'.

My message is that lots of people get bullied and they don't want anyone to find out so they hide until somebody eventually finds them.

Ricoh Tournament

Oh wait, have we started, I mean, hello there my name is, well you know my name. Anyway I'm gonna do my actual blog post now.

On the 28th of August, it was the day the Ricoh sports tournament happened. What is Ricoh? You might be wondering, well it is a mid year sports tournament which occurs around New Zealand.  At our school only the top team was going but another school couldn't come so in every sport there were two teams going. My team was chosen to go along with the highest netball team in our school. When we arrived at the Arena, both of the C.S.N.S teams had a game at 10:00. Miss Williams told us to do some warm-ups because we were the first teams there. All the girls just played tiny netball games or were shooting goals. After half an hour, the first game begin. For our first game we versed Riverdale. They were quite a good team. For our second game we versed Cloverley. Then we versed Hokowhitu. We lost all our games. We placed last and the other C.S.N.S team placed second. Cloverley won the Ricoh netball. They were a really good team.

Thank you for reading and toodles!!!

Back to school

Hi there. As you may know, term 3 is here and it started on Monday 20 July. This term our unit is business. We made our own businesses in small groups of 3,4 or 5. Our group product is called the Magnoball. The Magnoball has a magnet inside it so when somebody shoots it, the ball goes inside the hoop, sticks to the hoop or goes close to the hoop. Never throw the Magnoball at the pole of the hoop on purpose. There is also a remote for the Magnoball so you can turn it off at anytime. Thanks for reading my blog post and hopefully you can buy this product one day in the market!!

My highlight of term two!

My highlight of term two was the Go For Gold programme. I really liked the Go For Gold programme because we did art every Wednesday of term two. In week 6 we started making hanging sculptures. We got into small groups of two or three and planned the sculptures before we started experimenting the different things that might go on the sculpture and making the real thing. By today most of the groups have finished their sculptures including my group. Our group sculpture has cups all around the ring of wire. The cups are all painted 4 colours and are glittered as well. The inside of the cups are painted black. There are also lots of different colour rain drops hanging off the wire ring.

My play-dough planets

In GRi11 we have been learning about the solar system, gas planets, rocky midgets and dwarf planets. This week we made all of the eight planets of the solar system out of play-dough to match the sizes in a map or photo.

My Pacific Island informational report

The Pacific Islands were formed by a volcanic chain of eruptions and the formation started millions of years ago but the Pacific islands are still forming.

The Pacific islands are completely surrounded by a salt water ocean. They are really small so they get lots cyclones and if you ever wondered why we don’t get many storms or cyclones it is because the storms hit The Pacific islands first.

The Pacific islands are located around the middle of the Pacific ocean. There are around 20,000 to 30,000  islands spread across the big sea. Some of the islands are called: Rarotonga, Tahiti, Saipan,Maui,Espiritu Santo,Hawaii,Pohnpei,Mangaia,Wallis and Easter Island.

The Pacific islands have a very big tourist attraction. There are hundreds of hotels in the small islands where people stay for a few nights or days. Most people came for the experience but some people come to learn the special culture.

The Pacific islands are a beautiful place and they are such great travelling places.I hope after reading this report it makes you want to visit one of the Pacific islands.Thank you for reading my report!

My other favourite thing to do!

My other favourite thing to do is netball. I started playing netball for College Street Normal in 2014. I really like netball because I play my best when a game is on. I try really hard to win but we don't win every time. I get devastated but I get over it and get ready for the next game. Netball is really fun. If you are a girl, then you can play netball. Go to the teacher who runs netball and ask here. Don't be shy. Play your best when you are playing a game. Try all the positions and choose which one is the best for you. Netball is a really fun sport. If you start playing when you are young, then you could be in a national netball team when you are older. Thank you for reading!

My cross country recount

“Are you nervous Jaweria” Isabella asked me.” Of course not” I said trying to hide that I was actually really nervous. All of Gri11 got onto the bus and the bus driver started driving us to the Dransfields farm.I glared out the window most of the time on the trip to the farm.”Finally” I said after what felt like forever.Everyone got off the bus and walked up the hill. I threw my bag onto the tarpaulin and then took a seat.Soon it was time for our race.”Year six girls go with Mr Smith to the starting line” Mrs Langley yelled in her usual loud voice. All the year six girls (including me) went to the starting line.I trudged down the hill to where the race start is supposed to start.”Ready, steady go” Mr Bell shouted on the top of his lungs while shooting the gun in the air.(Don’t worry,it wasn’t actually a real gun, well at least that’s what the teachers said.)And off all the girls sprinted up the hill.”Wait up Tiaki, wait for meee” I hauled.Tiaki and Isabella raced ahead of me and were already on the path to the next hill.I ran and ran and kept running until I got up the second hill. When I was up there I just started walking because I was too exhausted.(I probably know what you’re thinking that I’m tired and it is only like been 50 metres or something but running is really hard.)’Holey cow!’ I yelled (in my head so no one could hear it except me),There is still such a long, long way’.

I kept on running and I found myself at the bottom of another hill. There was mud all around and you had to go through it.”O.M.G”,”I hate cross country” I  heard some other girls say.I didn’t even bother. We had to go through anyway so why should I make a big scene out of it.Well then you know what happens next, my shoes got muddy but I still kept on going. After I went past I saw the big one.I mean the big hill. The hill was really big and steep. There was a tractor on the grass next to the start of the hill.”Come on girls!” The kind lady cheered us on.I took a small glimpse at her then started running (jogging) again.A few people passed me as I walked down the grass.

Then out of the corner of my eye I saw Mr Robertson taking photos and cheering out,”Come on hurry up,we don’t have all day!”I ran quickly so Mr Robertson couldn’t take a photo of me but I’m pretty sure he did.Next came the horse poo and pee hill. The whole hill was covered with horse poo and pee.It was by  far the most smelliest thing I have ever smelled. The hill was so smelly that the mayor of Auckland called and complained about the smell.I went up the hill like I was a brave soldier but I wasn’t.After the horse poo hill came the horse poo pit.The horse poo pit was a  big piece of land with horse poo all over and around it.”Good job girls, keep on going you have to go through the poo and you can not  take a short cut” Mr Healy cheered the girls on with a smirk on his face.I stared at him with squinty eyes then got back on the track to the finish line.I tried going through it really fast but I nearly fell over so I just took it slow and steadily.”Yay” I muttered under my breath, while I ran past Mr Healy.I stopped for a second to catch my breath then I was off again.

“The finish line is nearly here girls” a woman shouted for support.I sprinted straight past her and headed for the finish.I kept jogging and found myself in the little forest.I jogged down the hill and walked up the other side.I saw all the rest of the participants that had finished their races on the side waiting for everyone else to finish so we could go back to school. As soon as I saw Miss Holder at the finish line, I gave in all the power left in me.As I passed the finish line, I burst.I was so glad that I was finished.I had never ever been happier.Later on when all the teahers and racers were back, the buses started arriving so everyone went back to school. On the way back to school, I talked to Isabella the whole time about my experience of cross country. The time flew as we were in the bus because we were already at school in a few minutes.”I never want to do cross country again” I told Isabella,”I’m so glad it is over because now I can go home after school and relax.”

The Mud Run

‘’Come on Dallas hurry up” Andrew scolded me. ”Well at least you aren’t the person carrying a nine kilogram hiking pack on your back” I fired back. Andrew,Grant,Austin and I were all walking to the mud run somewhere in the forest. Finally we arrived at the mud run. ”Come on let’s go’’ Austin said in a hurry Austin was the oldest out of all of us and I think he is also the most annoying. We all slid down the hill and took the first step in the cold mud. ”Ahhh’’ I screamed and jumped back. The others just let out a little squeak.’’Let’s just go anyway’’ Grant whispered. We all agreed and then one by one we started to cannonball in.

When we all were in the mud we all started slowly trudging through the squelchy goo. I could feel the mud oozing up my right leg. The squishy mud stuck to me like glue. Everyone was ahead of me by at least 10 metres. I was stomping so hard that my feet could feel everything at the very bottom and it wasn’t pleasant. I was going about to give up because it was too hard.

Suddenly! I slowly started sinking deep down into the brown smelly goo .I saw everything around me rising but things could not rise so I figured I was sinking in the mud. ”Nooooo” I yelled on the top of my lungs,”I can’t die now I haven’t gone to Isabella’s graduation and it is this year! Oh no! Help!!!’’ I screamed frantically while waving my arms everywhere .The mud sucked me in and I found myself somewhere beneath the ground. ’’Where am I’’ I muttered under my breath. ”You are in a secret underground train station” said the man standing in front of me. ”How is it a secret train station’’ I asked curiously. ”Whatever’’ he whispered,”I will show you around.  Here at the train station we never give up’’ . ”Really” I asked. ”Yes that’s how we get everything done’’ he answered.”I know just what to do” I said enthusiastically,” but before I go where is the exit”. The man showed me the exit and I was back in the mud. I hopped side to side as I made my way through the mud run. Finally I finished and I was relieved. ”Where were you” Grant asked.”Would you believe me if I said I was stuck” I replied cautiously.”Okay” Andrew said confusingly. Andrew and Austin stared at each other for a while. Then we all started to head back to the car. ‘What a day’ I thought to myself.

My Favourite Thing To Do

My favourite thing to do is art because there are no wrong answers and because I can express how I'm feeling onto the piece of paper.I also like art because I can put anything on the bass and play around with the bits and pieces.

MY GRI11 SONG

I’m in Gri11 I gotta play
So I'ma gonn' have fun, fun, fun every day
 I’m in Gri11 I gotta say
So I'ma gonn' work, work, work every day

All these books pile up my desk
They looking like a mount'
All these kids run around me and shout
I can hear them laugh and play
Going for gold in everything I do
And my friends just don't know how to do
My mum gonna leave if I don't home with $50
$50? God damn, god damn, god damn, god damn
Oh man, oh man, oh man, oh man
God damn, oh man, god damn, oh man

I’m in Gri11 I gotta play
So I'ma gonn' have fun, fun, fun  every day
 I’m in Gri11 I gotta say
    I’m gonna work,work,work every day

Stopped my work and dropped my pen
Stumped my toe on the way to lunch
Opened my lunchbox and the food is all gone
Leaving everybody to get some lunch
Went to the office and rang my mum
It's too hot but I still gonna run
My teachers are so crazy and of course I will not
delay that my work will get turned in everyday
God damn, god damn, god damn, god damn
Oh man, oh man, oh man, oh man
God damn, oh man, god damn, oh man

I’m in Gri11 I gotta play
So I'ma gonn' have fun, fun, fun every day
I’m in Gri11 I gotta say
So I'ma gonn' work, work, work every day

And my shoes, my shoes
Ain't got no soul

I’m in Gri11 I gotta play
So I'ma gonn' have fun, fun, fun every day
 I’m in Gri11 I gotta say
So I'ma gonn' work, work, work every day
I’m in Gri11 I gotta play
So I'ma gonn' have fun, fun, fun every day
   I’m in Gri11 I gotta say
So I'ma gonn' work, work, work every day
I'm in GRi11

Traditional Teaching Style Writing

Timetable for today:

  • Roll
  • Notices
  • National Anthem
  • Handwriting
  • Dictionary skills
  • Shakespeare
  • Basic facts
  • Abacus
  • .Morning tea
  • Marching practice
  • Organise play groups

As I strolled along the deck on the ninth of February,I saw about 60 wooden desks in 10 rows.I slapped myself across face. Nothing happened or changed.I slapped myself again but this time really hard. But still nothing happened."What do the teachers have stored for us today'' I pleaded. Then Mr Robertson and Miss Gordon came in dressed in clothes that were only sold in the olden days.Mr Robertson was wearing a old fashioned suit that was in magazines at least 100 years and Miss Gordon was wearing...um what ever that was called.I thought ‘Oh my god, dinosaurs probably have better taste'.

Miss Gordon was standing at an old lectern at the front of the room and was ready to read the roll.”Jaweria” Miss Gordon asked.”Yes” I replied and the roll went on and on and on.Then we did the notices and the national anthem.”The first row please get your handwriting books” Miss Gordon said strictly. Then the next row and then the rest of the classroom. ”Now do your handwriting exactly as or better than Miss Gordon” Mr Robertson recomended. Then we did our dictionary skills. The dictionary skills were easy because we just had to write words that started with the first letter of our names. After all of the children finished we had to read a story by Shakespeare called Macbeth. After the teacher said we were doing Shakespeare. I literally wanted to pull out all my hair.We had to memorise one line from the whole story.Piper and Olivia said there lines out loud to everybody. We read the basic facts out loud that were on the old fashioned producter.

Ding!Ding!Ding!  went the morning tea bell. Finally I thought, freedom. But I was wrong.Again.”Go and get your morning tea” Miss Gordon ordered.Row by row everybody got their lunch boxes and sat at their desks. When Mr Robertson said bite, everybody had to bite. Most people didn’t even finish their morning tea. Then came the horrible part. All the kids had to go outside and Mr Robertson taught us how to march.I really hated that part I mean who would have liked it.Then Mr Robertson and Miss Gordon organised us into play groups and in every group there was one hula hoop or skipping rope. I didn’t like that we couldn’t play with our friends but Isabella was in my group so it was alright. It was now the end of morning tea and everybody went inside. After a while the teachers came out and were dressed like themselves. It was just a prank!
